Alert when a contract goes quiet
Some failures make no noise: a keeper stops, an oracle stops updating, a frontend breaks and nobody calls the contract. SmartAlert can treat missing data as an alert. Pick the event your contract should emit regularly, and the rule fires when it stops.
The rule
This is how the rule looks in the new-alert form. You enter the contract address when you create it.
Rule
from contract events- Watch
- Number of your regular event per hour
- Fire when
- Below the norm for this hour
- No data
- Treat as alert
- Severity
- Critical
Where it would have fired
Every rule can be checked on history before you turn it on: you see where it would have fired over the last days.
Where the alert goes
Telegram on every plan; Slack, Discord and webhook on paid plans. A new project gets Pro limits for 14 days, no card needed.

- SlackPro
- DiscordPro
- WebhookPro
Works on: Ethereum, BNB Chain, Base, Arbitrum. · Free plan: up to 3 rules.
Turn it on
- 1
Add the contract address.
- 2
Create a rule on the event count, "below the norm".
- 3
In "No data", choose "Treat as alert".
Why it matters
Silence is invisible in a dashboard nobody opens at night. A rule turns it into an alert.
Try it on your own contract
Paste a contract address, pick the recipe, choose where alerts go. The first 14 days have Pro limits.
