Alert on new DAO proposals
A DAO vote can change the timelock delay, grant a role, mint tokens or upgrade a contract. Whoever has enough votes does it by the rules, and everyone else has only the voting period. SmartAlert tells you about every proposal in your Governor, decodes its calls and flags the dangerous ones.
The rule
This is how the rule looks in the new-alert form. You enter the contract address when you create it.

Where it would have fired
Every rule can be checked on history before you turn it on: you see where it would have fired over the last days.
Where the alert goes
Telegram on every plan; Slack, Discord and webhook on paid plans. A new project gets Pro limits for 14 days, no card needed.

How to enable
- 1
Add the Governor address.
- 2
Enable "New DAO proposal" and choose: every proposal or flagged only.
- 3
Pick a channel.
Why it matters
The proposal is the only warning of a takeover by vote: after that it executes by the rules. Whoever learns in the first minutes has time to rally votes against it or move funds before execution.
