Alert on abnormal token minting

An attacker who gets mint rights mints tokens and sells them into pools. SmartAlert watches your ERC-20 minting three ways: minting in 15 minutes worth more than your $ threshold; minting in an hour N times the average hour of last week (5 times by default); totalSupply up by a set percentage over 15 minutes, an hour or a day.

Where it would have fired

Every rule can be checked on history before you turn it on: you see where it would have fired over the last days.

How to enable

How to enable

  1. 1

    Add the token address.

  2. 2

Open the "Abnormal token mint" recipe and pick the mode: $ threshold, norm or totalSupply growth. totalSupply needs a totalSupply() function in the ABI.

  3. 3

    Pick a channel.

Why it matters

Tokens do not have to be stolen: they can be printed. Every unauthorized token is sold into pools against real holders, and the sooner the team learns about the mint, the less gets out.

Try it on your own contract

Paste a contract address, pick the recipe, choose where alerts go. The first 14 days have Pro limits.
